The Buckaroo Foundation is dedicated to improving access to specialized physical therapy for residents of Baldwin County.
To ensure a fair and efficient review process, please review the following criteria before submitting your application.
General Eligibility
- Residency: The applicant must be a legal resident of Baldwin County, Alabama.
- Focus Area: At this time, grants are specifically designated for Physical Therapy services that are medically necessary for individuals with disabilities.
- Mission Alignment: All requests must comply with the mission and vision of the Buckaroo Foundation to improve therapy access and outcomes.
- Grant Frequency: Families may apply for and be awarded a grant once every six (6) months.

How to Apply
- Completed Application Form: A fully completed and signed application.
- Proof of Diagnosis: Official documentation of a diagnosis or disability from a licensed medical professional.
- Physical Therapy Records: You must provide a current invoice for the physical therapy services to be covered, as well as the most recent therapeutic notes from the therapist.
- Submission Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by the 20th of the month to be considered for the following month’s voting cycle.
Important Policies
- Direct Disbursement: All awarded funds are paid directly to the licensed physical therapy provider. No funds will be issued to individuals.
- Collective Review: The Board of Directors votes on applications once per month. All decisions are made collectively by the Board to ensure transparency and fairness.
- Funding Limits: The Board determines grant amounts on a case-by-case basis based on financial need and available foundation resources.
